Shadow of the Tomb Raider's launch trailer focuses on the Mayan apocalypse

According to publisher Square Enix, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the determination to Lara Croft'south origin story. Lara must principal a mortiferous jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. Equally she races to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse, Lara volition ultimately be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to exist.

The trailer shows off some of the breathtaking locations found throughout the game and the flatulent story. Unlike the frozen wastelands in Ascent of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes place in a dumbo jungle.
